Sandslash Pokémon

Sandslash has stiff spikes that are hardened patches of Pokémon hide. Once a year, spikes fall out so that new ones can replace them, as they grow in place of old ones.

Sandslash can roll the body into a ball that will be covered with large spikes. In battle, Pokémon actively uses his barbs against enemies. Also, the creature sometimes jumps on a stunned opponent to tear him apart with its sharp claws.
